Bicycle Station Story

One of Patrick's fondest memories is getting up Christmas morning and looking at his new yellow bike with a gold banana seat that he went and rode the rest of the day. He had that bike until he bought his first 10 speed in Jr High School.

While studying for a petroleum engineering degree Patrick met his future wife Judy who was also attending the University of Wyoming studying accounting.

Patrick got a fantastic job opportunity to manage Recycled Cycles in Laramie, Wyoming and soon discovered he loved working with people whose passion was riding on two wheels. Within months of managing the bike shop, Patrick married his beautiful wife Judy. In two years he was managing several shops for Recycled Cycles. With the support of Judy Patrick changed his engineering degree to focus on business.

After graduating with his business degree Patrick opened the Bicycle Station in Cheyenne Plaza on May 28th, 1991. Patrick had another golden opportunity on December 8th, 1998 when he moved the Bicycle Station to a building he designed and built at its present address of 2634 Dell Range Boulevard. In June of 2009, Patrick completed a store renovation and opened his new Specialized Concept Store.

Patrick does not find what he does for a living work. He gets to cultivate lifelong relationships with people who ride bikes. Patrick is our BG fit guru. patrick@bicyclestation.com

Dave was going to Laramie County Community College and riding bikes when Richard one of his professors approached him and said he knew a guy who just opened a cycling shop and needed help. Dave has been with Patrick ever since. Dave has become a master mechanic. When not at work or spending time with his pretty wife and adorable girl you might spot him out on his road bike. dave@bicyclestation.com

Fritz came to the Bicycle Station back in 1995 with some friends to pick up some bike parts and as luck would have it Patrick's business was growing and hired Fritz who has great talent in working with people and is in the habit of riding bikes in the dirt. fritz@bicyclestation.com
